Enjoy jazz and culinary dishes in warm, welcoming surroundings upstairs from Kyrkogatan, just a few metres from their sister restaurant Champagnebaren Kyrkogatan 13. At Unity Jazz, guests are treated to live performances and jam sessions in creative, uninhibited surroundings.

The jazz club, which used to pop up at different locations, now has a permanent home at Kyrkogatan 13. They describe themselves as Gothenburg's only jazz bar and it's become a well-loved watering hole for jazz cats and gourmands alike - come by and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere whether you're a jazz aficionado, want to eat dinner or try out an exciting wine. Snacks and slightly smaller dishes with shellfish, vegetables and meat dominate the menu, which is regularly updated. Their signature dish cheese fondue is a popular permanent fixture.

Hang out in the heart of things next to the band, or one of the adjacent rooms next to the bar. The warm, welcoming restaurant has photos of jazz legends on the walls, shelving full of bottles of wine, herringbone parquet floors, deep window recesses and high and low tables you can enjoy dinner or a glass of wine at.

The music programme at Unity Jazz is extensive and you can get your fix of jazz both at weekends and during the week, in the form of both traditional concerts and jam sessions where anything can happen. The proximity to sister joints Champagnebaren and the Bar Bruno cocktail bar make it easy to keep the evening going.
