The club has recently undergone a facelift, but the core concept is the same as always at Nef: great music and great vibes. DJs fill the dancefloor, there are often live concerts and the party atmosphere is deeply rooted.

At the top of Avenyn, Park Lane is the place that never sleeps, or almost never. The music's pumping and the clubbing goes hand in hand with cabarets and other glittering live shows. The summer success story Port Du Soleil has moved around town over the years, ending up at the legendary Trädgår'n. This is the place to come for a serious party with all the trimmings. If you want to dance the night away to house with pounding bass, you won't be disappointed. 

Party in style at Bardot, a French-inspired Art Deco nightclub with carpeted floors, muted lighting and a lavish bar where cocktails are mixed to perfection. Open on Fridays and Saturdays, it's the place to come post-work for Friday afternoons that get livelier the later it gets, culminating in a full-scale party. Bardot welcomes an over-25 crowd.

Visage invites guests to a complete experience with a touch of the Mediterranean. Start the evening with dinner and conversation before the night turns into a rocking party with colourful cocktails and great music.

The Stockholm-based Stureplansgruppen has brought their tried-and-tested formula to the west coast, giving Gothenburgers the chance to show the capital how to party. Dance under a spaceship-like cupola or under the stars during the summer months. Large spaces and a great atmosphere with a mixed music offering.

This spot on Stigbergsbacken offers a slightly more alternative club offering. If you're in the mood for a Nineties theme, rock, salsa or punk club, you've come to the right place - but make sure you check what's on that particular evening before you head out. Cool off with a tropical cocktail as the heat and atmosphere seduce you.

There's been a party at this address since the late 1800s. These days, Valand is one of the city's most popular clubs and there's a party atmosphere every Friday and Saturday night. The club consists of two dance floors, with new hits played on one and another right next to their own Rock bar.
