Gunnebo Slott's Christmas market will be full of exhibitors selling arts and crafts and tasty festive foods. There will be plenty of activities for the whole family inside the castle, including guided tours and Christmassy crafting. You can also enjoy warming food and drink in Gunnebo Kaffehus and Krog.

Haga Nygata is one of Gothenburg's best preserved and most charming streets, not least when decorated for Christmas. There's a rich selection of tasty treats and all kinds of festive goodies. During the weekend Christmas markets there's also musical entertainment and activities.

This large castle just south of the city transforms into an old-fashioned Christmas dream around Christmas. Their classic, atmospheric market includes small-scale producers and food exhibitors from all over the country. The castle is decorated with Christmas trees, atmospheric decor and lighting that create a festive Christmas atmosphere, and delicacies such as ham sandwiches, mulled wine and other Christmas-inspired dishes are served around the estate.

The Christmas market in Nordstan has been a popular annual tradition for over 50 years. You'll find masses of different exhibitors and events, as well as atmospheric concerts performed on the Christmas stage. Christmas in Nordstan kicks off with a bang on 1st December. There'll be handcrafts, festive delicacies, Santa, mulled wine and full-on Christmas spirit.

This year, Scandinavia's largest antiques and collectors' market invites you to an atmospheric Christmas market where you can buy Christmas gifts (including for yourself, of course!) such as handmade jewellery, Christmas flowers, unique interior items, British goodies and much more. Vegan-friendly Papi's is organizing an entirely plant-based Christmas market on Ringön this year. Local producers and businesses can showcase both crafts and food products and, as well as shopping they also serve vegan food from several different food trucks.

Kulturella Skeppet GBG debuts this year with a Christmas market where the Salon is filled with art, crafts, design, accessories and vinyls - all with views of the waters of the Göta River. They go all-in on the super-cosy Christmas vibes, with a DJ setting the mood with suitable music.

The Christmas market at Nääs Fabriker is a perfect outing if you want to get into the Christmas spirit. The historic factory area is transformed into a winter wonderland with candlelight, trees, braziers and Christmas decorations. The market includes a wide range of handcrafts, gastronomic experiences and activities for children. And naturally, Father Christmas will be paying a special visit too.
