These days he's passionate about really good food made from fresh ingredients that's affordable or everyone, in the form of tasty pasta dishes perfect for pairing with a glass of wine or cocktail. You'll find the restaurants spread out around Gothenburg. 

Bar Centro is one of those wonderful Continental-style places that welcomes its guests for everything from a simple cup of espresso in the morning to delicious dinners in the evenings. As the name suggests, inspiration comes primarily from Italy. Naturally, there are pasta dishes on the menu, which are written up on the blackboard and updated frequently.

This Italian cellar restaurant is what's known as an osteria in Italian, which usually means a smaller menu of traditional dishes and wines. Naturally, the menu includes pasta, including popular dishes such as cacio e pepe, carbonara and ravioli, ideal for accompanying with one of their Italian wines.

This restaurant, one of the first of its kind in Gothenburg, has been serving Italian classics made from selected ingredients for more than 20 years. The menu includes numerous pasta favourites such as Neapolitan pasta made with a rich tomato sauce and fresh mussels. If you want to share a taste experience with your dinner companion, their risotto is ideal for two.

Although the pasta is made from just two ingredients - water and semolina flour - all the different kinds of pasta manage to have their own distinct character.
