The Evening Star on Surrey Street is a Brighton institution, and a proper pub with beer at its heart. They've been pouring brews since 1854 and have since evolved from a local alehouse into one of the city's most respected free houses, now home to 22 taps of top-notch beer and cider. Alongside cask ales, they also serve naturally still ciders and rotating kegs from the best indie breweries across the UK and Europe.
