The North Star

The North Star is a Brighton pub that maintains the comfort of a proper neighbourhood local, but with a purpose that quietly shapes the whole experience. The menu leans into pub classics like fish and chips and burgers, and the Sunday roasts have built a loyal following. Drinks stay traditional too, with pints, wine and all the usual pub drinks. What really sets The North Star apart is its partnership with Team Domenica, a Brighton charity that supports young people with learning disabilities or autism into meaningful work. Candidates train and work throughout the pub, building confidence, independence and real-world experience in a space designed for them to shine. All profits from The North Star go directly back into funding the charity's programmes, including a new dedicated training centre being created above the pub.
