The Well Hove

In Hove, The Well is a cosy neighbourhood bottle shop and bar specialising in natural wine. The bar still carries the bones of its former off-licence but has been transformed into something reminiscent of an old pal's living room. Regulars drift in for a glass, a bottle to take home, or a bowl of Perello olives (or all three), and records are often spinning on the decks with occasional guest DJs. It is understated and slightly tucked away, with no big signage and a local crowd who treat it as part of the weekly routine. Out-of-towners tend to hear about it through someone already in the know.
