The Bow Street Runner is one of Hove's smallest and most charming pubs, with a history that stretches back to 1867 and a name inspired by London's first police force (and a few too many questions about train times). These days, Sue and her team run the place with open arms. There's no blaring music, Sky Sports, or fruit machines, just good drinks, chat, and a proper old-school pub vibe. It's dog-friendly, full of character, and even has a few cosy B&B rooms upstairs if you fancy making a night of it.
