Royal Pavilion

One of the best-known sights in Brighton, the Royal Pavilion was built in the early 19th century as a seaside pleasure palace for King George IV. Its exterior catches the eye with unusual oriental elements like domes and minarets, but it's even more striking inside, with opulently furnished rooms, colourful tapestries, and other such regalia welcoming visitors into a royal wonderland. 

During your visit, you'll be able to see a mouth-watering banquet laid out in the luxurious dining room, as well as peek into one of the most technologically advanced kitchens of its time. Afterwards, you can retire to the restored saloon, decked out from floor to ceiling in rich fabrics, royal red and gold colours, and intricate details, all sitting beneath the sky painted on the domed ceiling.
