The Creatures Comedy Festival is coming back to Creatures Comedy Club in Manchester's Northern Quarter for its third year. Building on the success of previous editions, the event is designed as a vital platform outside London where comedians can preview shows ahead of the Edinburgh Fringe.

Audiences will get early access to material before it heads to the world's largest arts festival in August. The programme will feature more than 25 performances, spotlighting both rising North West talent and established household names. The initial line-up includes Catherine Bohart, Brennan Reece, Dan Tiernan, Milo Edwards, and a mystery “Taskmaster” star.

A special Northern Takeover on 26 July will also celebrate standout comedians from across the north of England. The day will conclude with the final of the Creatures Comedian Of The Year 2026 competition. The winner will earn a showcase slot, a paid weekend run, and further development opportunities at the club.

Tickets for this year's festival go on sale on 16 February.
