Get another hit of Wholesome Junkies at their Hinterland residency

It was a sad day when Wholesome Junkies announced the closure of their flagship restaurant in the city centre this summer, but fans of the vegan junk-food business can now rejoice – they're coming back with an extended residency in the Northern Quarter.

Wholesome Junkies made a name – and a big fanbase – for themselves with their indulgent plant-based takes on classic comfort food, from innovative burgers and phish 'n' chips to cauliflower wings, loaded fries, and more. They started out as a market stall before opening a bricks-and-mortar location in the centre of Manchester, which was forced to close this past summer. They did say they'll stick around and pop back up when possible, and it didn't take them long to fulfil their promise.

Starting on Saturday 28 September, Wholesome Junkies will be setting up shop at Hinterland, Manchester's only alcohol-free bar, until the end of the year. They'll be serving up a changing menu of tasty junk food, ranging from their classic favourites to seasonal specials, Sunday roasts, weekend brunch options, and more. They'll also be hosting various themed nights and other events.

Wholesome Junkies will be serving up food from noon to 9pm, Tuesday to Friday, and from 10am to 9pm on weekends.
