Next month, The team behind the popular Mexican restaurant Madre is launching a brand new bar and pool hall, Salon Madre. It's located right next door to Madre, in the space once occupied by the Seven Bro7hers bar, and is set to be an exciting combo of entertainment, food, and drinks.
Salon Madre will open on 6 December, featuring four pool tables and big screens showcasing Lucha Libre (Mexican wrestling) and other US sports. Expect signature dishes from Madre's Chef Sam Grainger, also known for Liverpool's Belzan and Medlock Canteen, who has crafted a menu alongside his team that includes things like al pastor tacos, rotating taco specials, gringas quesadillas, loaded nachos, and their iconic burritos.
The original Madre opened last summer and quickly gained a reputation for its authentic Mexican cuisine, delicious cocktails, and unique dining experiences—like the half pig's head carved at your table.
Salon Madre is set to bring the same energy, food, and fun, making it a must-visit spot in Manchester.
