Behind the fridge door of a bustling burger joint lies the Northern Quarter's newest hotspot, Ego Death. This cool cocktail bar is tucked away in the basement of Super Awesome Deluxe on Thomas Street and is inspired by New York backstreets with a Manchester touch.

This intimate, candlelit spot is a collaboration with Super Awesome Deluxe and Almost Famous founder Beau Myers and is helmed by renowned bar manager Cressida Lawlor, formerly of London Cocktail Club and Sexy Fish. They are encouraging an 'anything goes' policy, where all issues are left at the door, and you must enter with a 'no-ego' frame of mind.

The menu takes centre stage with bourbon-based cocktails, Champagne, and other creative concoctions, making it a go-to destination for unforgettable evenings with top-quality cocktails in Manchester's hip Northern Quarter. The soundtrack, including playlists of funk, hip-hop, soul, disco, soft rock, and more, only adds to the vibe.

To step inside, guests must first buzz the intercom for access—those with reservations will also need to provide a passcode.
