Review of Shogun Ramen & Bar – by Grace T.

I’ve eaten here quite regularly over the past year or so and it’s steadily gone downhill with each visit. I used to really love their curry ramen and it’s gotten gradually worse each time until it was thin broth (curry is usually thicker) with hardly any curry flavour and just tasted vaguely of salt. I came back each time thinking maybe the kitchen was just having an off day but it’s never good as good as it was again. Even the sushi I ordered only four out of the eight pieces actually had filling inside - which is quite a let down when you’ve paid £6 for some simple avocado hosomaki. I chose two stars instead of one out of respect for when the food used to be really good. My advice would be to go to another ramen spot in the city.
