Tucked away in a basement on Cross Street, The Rice Bowl is one of the oldest Chinese restaurants in Manchester, dating all the way back to 1960. As you walk down the narrow stairs, a large underground dining area opens up, with plenty of seating for groups of all sizes. The menu at the family-run restaurant is equally expansive and includes a varied selection of dim sum, along with other traditional Chinese dishes.

Reviews of The Rice Bowl

Amazing dim sum, both in variety and execution. The restaurant is lovely too, classic Chinese spot but cosy, with friendly staff.
