A big new musical is coming to Manchester in October

Featuring a number of hit songs by the likes of Christina Aguilera, “Burlesque The Musical” will be at the Opera House for a month.

“Burlesque The Musical” is a musical adaptation of the 2010 film of the same title, which starred Christina Aguilera and Cher in the leading roles. Telling the story of Ali Rose, whose dreams of finding her mother and becoming a professional dancer in New York City's dazzling underground take her on a journey of self-discovery, the production is distinguished by an epic soundtrack, with songs by Aguilera, Sia, and legendary songwriter Diane Warren.

The production stars rising singer Jess Folley in the role of Ali, along with American actress and singer Jackie Burns and Broadway legend Todrick Hall. The glamorous production is coming to Opera House Manchester on 3 October and will be on until 2 November. You can find out more and book your tickets here.
