“Celtic Throne – Psalter of Ireland” is an innovative new show touring the UK for the first time, combining traditional Irish dance with theatre, cinematic production, and a powerful musical score. Featuring over 40 performers, the production includes live musicians, elaborate sets, stunning visuals, and choreography that blends dance, gymnastics, and martial arts.

Directed by Brad Macdonald, the show is described as a fusion of “Riverdance”, a West End musical, and a Hollywood blockbuster, offering an unforgettable theatrical experience. The cast includes world-class young dancers trained by John Carey, former “Lord of the Dance” star, with younger performers noted for their charm and energy. The storyline follows the legendary sage Ollav Fola, with a score composed by Brian Byrne, a Golden Globe-nominated Irish composer.

“Celtic Throne – Psalter of Ireland” is coming to Manchester's Bridgewater Hall on 24 June. You can find out more about the show and book tickets here.
