The National Restaurant Awards 2024 are being held in London on 10th June and the nominees for Opening of the Year have been announced. Nine restaurants nationwide have been shortlisted for the award, including Manchester's very own Fenix. Restaurants in Bristol, Jersey, London, and Edinburgh are also included in the shortlist.

Fenix opened to much acclaim in 2023, and comes from the same team as Tattu, which has locations in Manchester and London. This venue focuses on ambitious Greek fine dining, lead by Executive Head Chef Ippokratis Anagnostelis. It's not only the upmarket food that has made Fenix such a hit on the food scene. The impressive interiors have been described as Ancient Greece meets Star Wars, including a ground floor bar designed to evoke a phoenix's nest.

We look forward to finding out who wins this award, as well as all the other categories, in June.
