Fresh off the back of Oasis' huge homecoming gigs, new Manc pizza joint Forbici is keeping the local love going with a very Northern new menu item: the Manchester Tart pizza.

It's available from now until August 25 and is a cheeky nod to the city's favourite retro dessert, loaded with raspberry jam, custard and coconut, and served on Forbici's signature biga dough – a three-generation recipe that's proofed for 12 hours at 24°C to achieve a perfect 5.0pH balance.

It's joined by a new padron pepper pizza for anyone craving savoury over sweet, and yes, pizzas here come cut into quarters with scissors at the table.

You'll find Forbici on Cross Street, right in the heart of the city.
