There's no shortage of good coffee chops to be found around Manchester (we've listed our favourite ones right here, in fact), but any java fiend will tell you that there's always room for one more cup. And as of this summer, you'll be able to get that extra cup from the first northern branch of Grind.

In seemingly no time, London's Grind went from a cool Shoreditch coffee spot serving a mean espresso martini to running cafés and coffee trucks all across London, collabing with the likes of Green Day, and plastering its pastel-pink ads onto every tube carriage. Now they're looking to take on the rest of the world, starting with Manchester.
Grind will be opening their first branch outside of London in the St Michael's redevelopment off Deansgate, which, with the imminent arrival of Circolo Popolare, is beginning to look like quite the little haven for ex-pat London trendsetters. The coffee maestros will be bringing everything they've got to Manchester, including speciality coffee, seasonal brunch fare, and, yep, those espresso martinis. Expect a typically tasteful setting as well – that signature pink tone, clean lines, things of that nature.
Grind Manchester opens this summer, with an exact launch date still TBD.
