If things go according to plan, the popular Greater Manchester bakery and kitchen will be opening its third location as soon as next month.

Blanchflower also has its own bakery

Blanchflower is a family-run café and bakery that started out in Altrincham, later opening a site in Sale as well. These relaxed spots have quickly become a local breakfast and brunch favourite, making everything in-house to ensure quality and flavour. There's an evolving menu that ranges from freshly-baked pastries to hearty mains, and the original location even runs monthly supper clubs. And now, the group is getting ready to grow with a new branch, this one located at the Trafford Centre shopping mall.

The new Blanchflower will be part of the refreshed Upper Orient food court at Trafford Centre. Colloquially known as “Chinatown”, the area will turn to promoting local Mancunian businesses, and Blanchflower is leading the charge. They'll be bringing all their brekkie and brunch favourites along to their new space, so make sure to check them out when you're on your first post-festive shopping spree in 2025 – they open on 29 January.
