The popular Stockport restaurant will be closing temporarily for renovation, but you'll still be able to get your fix of their cooking in the meantime.

Where The Light Gets In (WTLGI) is one of the more high-profile restaurants in Stockport, renowned for its commitment to seasonality and locally sourced produce. They've garnered widespread acclaim with their creative menus and are usually high on any visiting foodie's hit list. They'll be closing down for a good chunk of 2025, however, in order to undergo renovations. They plan on reopening on 9 April, but until then, you'll be able to visit their pop-up residency in Manchester.

From January to March, the WTLGI team will take over The Bungalow in the Kampus redevelopment next to Manchester Piccadilly station. They'll be cooking up a storm seven days a week and are promising a “bold and experimental dining experience”, including whole cow burgers and communal feasts.
