Chakalaka

Head to Chakalaka in the Northern Quarter to experience South African food for yourself. This is the only South African bar and kitchen in Manchester, offering vibrant food and surroundings. It's not difficult to spot this venue's colourful yellow exterior, and once you're inside you'll see bold murals and African motifs that are also full of colour on the walls. There's a garden at the back as well. It's a comfortable and contemporary space for classic South African dishes as well as some distinctive specialities.
