The Crown & Kettle

An iconic pub located in Ancoats, The Crown & Kettle is an independent venue with plenty of seating both inside and out. This award-winning pub has a history going all the way back to 1774, but it was re-established as a local fave in 2020. Behind the smart brick exterior, it's cosy and rustic inside, with burning fires, exposed bricks, and a weathered ceiling, as well as a bustling atmosphere. You're welcome to bring your dog along too and there are even some special events aimed at canine friends.

This pub specialises in craft beer, ales, and ciders, offering a changing selection of delicious drinks. You can expect drinks brewed locally in Manchester, as well as beers that are produced elsewhere in the UK, including in Yorkshire and London. Some resident beers produced in Manchester are always available but otherwise it's a rotating selection so you'll find fresh and exciting flavours every time you visit.
