The service was exceptional - so fast we actually thought the food was meant for another table! Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour, but the Tiger Rolls truly stole the show. My dad hasn’t stopped talking about them since, and honestly, I can’t blame him.

Tucked away in an old Victorian lavatory beneath street level, WC Wine & Charcuterie in Bloomsbury is the kind of place you’ll want to keep to yourself - but can’t help recommending to everyone you know. I visited on a Saturday evening with a friend and instantly fell for the cosy, intimate atmosphere. Despite the weekend buzz outside, the bar felt like a calm little hideaway -ideal for a long catch-up over a glass of wine.

We ordered a cheese platter to share, paired with a couple of glasses of bubbles, and were seriously impressed. The quality was great, the portions generous, and the prices surprisingly kind. It’s rare to find somewhere in central London that feels both special and relaxed without breaking the bank.
