We visited Lalibela for the first time to experience Ethiopian cuisine.

Initially, we had planned to order the Lalibela Special platter, but after discussing with the staff, we decided to try a few of their recommended dishes instead and we’re glad we did.

We ordered Yebeg Tibes, Blandat Fat (Mixed Dish) and Zilzil Tibes. Each dish had its own distinct flavor profile. The lamb tibes were tender, well-spiced and full of aroma. The mixed dish was a great combination of different stews, giving us chicken, lamb, beef, lentils and cabbage all served beautifully on injera. The spices were rich but balanced, flavorful without being overwhelming.

When we arrived, there was a slight delay in attending to us despite having a reservation. However, once we were seated, the staff were extremely helpful in explaining the dishes and guiding us through the menu.

We visited Mae Thai River with our family and had a very pleasant experience.

The restaurant is quite spacious and has a beautiful Thai forest–inspired interior, which creates a calm and welcoming atmosphere. It felt comfortable for a family dinner and not too crowded or noisy.

We started with fried tilapia with sweet chili sauce, which had a nice balance of sweet, sour and slightly spicy flavors. It did have some bones, but the natural taste of the fish was very good. We also tried the fried tilapia with chili and herbs, which was boneless and absolutely delicious, easily our favorite dish and something we would come back for again.

We also ordered Pad Thai and wok-fried bean sprouts with tofu. Both were fresh, well-cooked and nicely balanced in flavor. The drinks were refreshing and a perfect match with the food.

Overall, it was a relaxed and enjoyable family meal with good food, a nice atmosphere and friendly service. A great addition to Drottninggatan and we would happily visit again.

We had an amazing experience at Haji Gril. The ambiance is fantastic and the interior furniture is very comfortable, making it a cozy place to dine. They even have a separate section for traditional dining on Takhat, which adds a unique touch to the experience.

The staff is well-dressed, extremely polite and well-trained, making us feel welcomed throughout our visit. We were a family of five and the staff recommended the HOUSE MIX tray, which was perfect for us. It included 2 grilled marinated lamb tenderloin skewers, 2 saffron-marinated chicken skewers, 2 grilled beef skewers, 2 marinated racks of lamb, bademjan, ghorme sabzi and köfteh. It was served with saffron rice and freshly baked bread plus Baghali Polo with Lamb a delicious broad bean risotto with dill and saffron-cooked leg of lamb.

The food was incredibly flavorful and I highly recommend this place. We will definitely be coming back!

We recently visited Curry Co and were delighted by the entire experience. The restaurant's interior is modern yet warm with dim lighting that creates a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The thoughtful touches, such as the glowing neon sign "Keep Calm and Curry On," add a charming personality to the space.

Their crockery truly stands out beautifully designed copper plates and cups that not only enhance the presentation but also give a traditional feel, elevating the dining experience.

Coming to the food, their Chicken Biryani was simply outstanding, the aroma of freshly cooked spices was inviting and the taste lived up to it. Easily one of the finest biryanis I’ve had in Stockholm. The Lamb Karahi was a revelation. Unlike the typical dishes, it had no pre ground spices, instead, the fresh ingredients like tomatoes, bell peppers and whole spices gave it a natural, rich and authentic flavor. The meat was tender and cooked to perfection.

The Bihari Kebab was another highlight. It was my first time trying it in Sweden, and it left a lasting impression. The meat was incredibly soft and flavorful, complemented perfectly by the mint chutney and paratha.

And finally, their naan bread deserves a mention. Soft, fluffy and baked just right, it was so good, it didn’t need any accompaniment. This is a place where everything from the ambiance to the food is crafted with care and attention to detail. A must visit for anyone in Stockholm looking for an exceptional dining experience.

Senast hade jag en annorlunda upplevelse, men den här gången har deras enastående service och utsökta mat fullständigt vunnit mig över.

Hela vår familj blev imponerad av variationen och kvaliteten på rätterna som fanns på deras buffé.

Lammkarahin stack ut med sitt perfekt möra och saftiga kött, och kryddblandningen gav en fantastisk smak.

Deras pakistanska biryani var oöverträffad i Stockholm, med en autentisk smak och doft som tog oss tillbaka hem.

Kyckling tikka sizzlern var full av smak och lämnade oss med mersmak. Dessutom var de nygjorda samosorna och dahi baray en härlig detalj till vår iftar-måltid.

Och som pricken över i:et var gulab jamun en ljuvlig sötsak som lämnade oss sugna på mer. Sammanfattningsvis förvandlade de vår matupplevelse och överträffade våra förväntningar på alla sätt.

Hade en fantastisk upplevelse! Jag beställde Signature Burger med briochebröd, saftigt nötkött, cheddarost, tryffelmajonnäs, gratinerad spenat och parmesan – det var verkligen utsökt. Jag fick också smaka fyra andra burgare från min familjs beställning: Route 66, Arcadian Bomb, Dynamite och Dundar.

Om jag måste rangordna dem är min favorit definitivt Route 66, följt av Signature och sedan Dynamite. Alla burgare var fräscha och fulla av smak. Atmosfären var också fantastisk. Rekommenderar verkligen detta ställe till alla som letar efter en riktigt bra burgerupplevelse!

Jag provade deras Flatbread Red Chicken Pizza med chili sås som bas wow, vilken smakupplevelse! Den napolitanska bottnen var perfekt, mjuk, luftig och lite krispig i kanterna, precis som den ska vara. Chili såsen gav en härlig hetta som balanserades perfekt med den saftiga och välkryddade kycklingen. En pizza som verkligen sticker ut! Rekommenderas starkt för alla pizzaälskare. Kan knappt vänta på att komma tillbaka!

Perfekt för dig som gillar dem riktigt amerikanska pizzadegen, som har en tjock botten med massor av smält ost.
Toppingen på alla pizzor var inte alls snålt utan rejäla grönsaker, kött och för att nämna osten som mjuk och varm. Du missar verkligen nåt om du inte har besökt de än.

Vi beställde 3 pizzor och en zinger burger och chicken wings.

Chicken malai boti
Denna pizza perfekt för den som saknar den traditionella Afghani malai boti smaken. Du får en pizza med små finskurna bitar kyckling med massor av kryddor. Lagom stark passar alla.

Chicken Tikka pizza
Grillade kycklingbitar med mycket stark kryddig smak. Denna pizza är lite stark så var beredd. Men smakar otroligt gott. Tjock pizzabotten med fyllig topping.

Fajita pizza
Lite mildare pizza för den som inte vill ha det starka. Tjock pizzabotten med fina små kycklingbitar mild kryddad med topping som sitter perfekt och ger en otrolig god smak.

Chicken wings
Har nog aldrig ätit godare Wings. Perfekt lager av krispiga yta. Sur, kryddig wing satt perfekt.

We visited Premium Burger during a festival at Mariefred Marina and it was a fantastic experience! My family and I tried almost all the burgers and my personal favorite was the Halloumi and Chicken Burger. It was incredibly juicy and packed with flavor. What stood out to me was the freshness of all the ingredients. The burgers were not only delicious but also beautifully presented, perfect for photos! Overall, a top-notch burger spot that I highly recommend!
