Mr. Mango Streetfood

After more than 20 years in the industry, a group of friends and colleagues decided to start up their own business. The result was a food truck, which was later joined by a lunch restaurant where many of the dishes include mango. 

Talk of starting a food business began in 2012, but it wasn't until 2019 that they decided, over a few glasses of wine, to make the dream a reality. They bought themselves a food truck, which they travelled all over the country in, to festivals and events, serving street food with a slightly unexpected element: mango. Some months - and many festivals - later they opened their static lunch spot on Sigurdsgatan 25.

As the name suggests, many of the dishes include some form of mango, for example pickled mango, mango chutney and mango salsa, which has proved a big hit all around the country. Choose from nachos, salads, tacos and other delights, and if there's room for dessert afterwards you can round off your meal with a soft-serve ice cream. 

As well as running the lunch spot on Sigurdsgatan, they still tour the country in their food truck and you'll find their food at some of the country's largest events, such as Brännbollsyran, Sweden Rock and Way Out West.
