Steak lovers in Manchester will no doubt already be aware that Flat Iron is opening in the city on 3rd July. This is the first time that the London-based restaurant group has launched a venue outside of the capital. It's known down there for its quality steaks and fuss-free menu of prime cuts and sides that allow you to put together your ideal steak dinner. And if you're lucky, you could be one of the first in the city to sample the steaks – for free.
Although the restaurant officially opens on 3rd July, head down after 5pm on 2nd July and you might be able to bag yourself a free Wagyu steak. To celebrate its opening, the restaurant is giving away 500 free pieces of meat to lucky diners. You can't book for this, it's walk-ins only and first-come first-served. Get down to the new venue in Deansgate to claim yours.
