Beloved burger joint Archie's is rolling out a brand-new concept – the clue is in the title

It's no secret that Archie's, Manchester's popular burger brand, is heavily inspired by 80s American culture – after all, their name comes from the roller-skating rink featured in the classic 1988 teen movie “License to Drive.” With their latest venue, however, they're dialling up the similarities even further.

Opening this year at the Trafford Palazzo, Archie's Atomic is set to be the biggest roller-skating rink in the entire North West. Fully decked out in the brand's recognisable pink colour scheme, the brand-new experience will cover 5,000 square feet and offer tons of family-friendly fun. It's not just the roller-skating that will be a big draw here – the rink is accompanied by a big amusement arcade with retro machines, an immersive games box, and even private party rooms.

Of course, food will play a major part at Archie's Atomic too. You'll be able to get all of Archie's signature smash burgers here as part of their full menu, with special food and drink packages available as well. Archie's Atomic will also feature a dedicated milkshake bar.

Archie's Atomic is slated to open this autumn – stay tuned for the exact launch date.
