Having achieved viral success with its Korean corndog venture Bunsik and then, importantly, successfully expanded on it, Maguro Group knows its way around a catchy concept. The company behind Bunsik and other successful ventures such as Pochawa Grill is now gearing up to open another of its brands in Manchester.

The Manchester branch of Bullgogi aims to be the biggest Korean barbecue restaurant in the entire country. Taking over what used to be an M&S Food, the restaurant will be situated at the City Tower in Parker Street. Not many specifics are known at this time, but judging by the original London branch of Bullgogi, diners can expect an array of Korean small plates with contemporary Western influences, ideal for sharing, as well as table BBQs where you'll be able to prepare your food to your satisfaction.

Bullgogi Manchester is slated for launch by the end of this year. We'll have more details as they're revealed.
