As soon as I arrived, the old man who runs the (mildly funny) stand-up show walked up to me and told me that I looked like I belonged to same generation as his uncle. It's hard to explain why this was so unpleasant; you should've been there. But this absurd comment ruined my night and week! It made me question time and aging and all of (my) existence. Very rude! Don't go to this pub. There are plenty of better places along the same street.
