We had come to celebrate a family birthday and reserved a table as everyone was travelling from Switzerland, within London, Yorkshire and Peterborough. As excited as we were, the table was not ready when we arrived. When we did sit down, I asked for poppadom's for the table, they didn't arrive until our main course did. The server who was nice got our starters order completely wrong so we didn't have enough for a table of 12 people. She apologies profusely but by then the damage had been done. We were not asked if we wanted spicy or mild food at any point not if anyone had allergies (this should always be done!). We brought our own cake and I had pointed out who's birthday it was, but when it came out it was given to the wrong person. Service from the kitchen was VERY slow and then to top it off, when we informed the manager of everything that went wrong, he argued back and told us "go ahead and write a review" They offered free desserts as "compensation" and took off the cost of the poppadom's. The decor looks great but the staff need a lot of training and the kitchen staff need to be faster. Also, for the price being paid for the food, the portions are really small! They had also run out of any paneer dishes (on Southall Broadway!) We may or may not visit again but the manager didn't help and would well put future customers off with his attitude.
