On the eastern side of Gotland lies Ljugarn, a community right by the beach. Here you will find camping, various restaurants, a fishing village. A pleasant excursion destination if you are on Gotland.
Down by the beach is Ljugarns Strandcafé & Restaurang. The location is wonderful and the area stretches from the narrow paved road, where you can park, and across the wide beach down to the sea. Nice parasols are set up together with sofas, chairs and a few sun loungers where you can sit and socialize or refresh yourself after a swim in the sea and I got a bit of an abroad vibe from the place.
Here you can buy ice cream, eat in the restaurant and play mini golf. The mini golf was very nice. A fun thing that both children really enjoyed. Afterward we had lunch, we might have waited a bit too long for the food, even though it wasn’t very crowded, but when it finally arrived it was good. It became hamburgers for the whole family and they were really tasty. A nice burger simply - the kind of thing that always makes you happy.
