Whether you're already an experienced skater or you're trying it out for the first time, you'll get something out of BaySixty6. A long-term fixture on the city's skate scene, this is a covered skatepark that you can use in all weathers and that has a sleek modern look to it. If you're currently working to master skating, are starting from scratch with none of your own gear, or you're an experienced skating fan who wants to refine their tricks, BaySixty6 will suit you. There's a strong sense of community at this non-profit organisation.

For kids learning to skate for the first time, this skatepark offers a skating academy and a variety of tuition options including private tuition and intensive skating camps. You don't even need to worry about having all the right equipment – you can hire everything you need from the BaySixty6 skate shop. Items are available to buy from the shop as well.

If you're already a confident skater, you can book onto a skate session here and make use of the facilities. You'll find a wide choice of elements around the skatepark, including a massive bowl that takes up a quarter of the entire park space. There's also a street section and a section aimed at beginners. Beginners are very much welcome here, with some skate sessions being exclusive to beginners. Other special sessions like a monthly girls-only night take place here too. This is a friendly and inclusive skatepark that's been big for a long time and continues to attract plenty of diverse skaters.
