Hyde Park Stables has been the place in London for horse riding lessons for nearly 200 years. It's one of the last remaining mews with horses in Central London and has been located at the site of England's most famous equestrian venue for more than 300 years.

Riding at Hyde Park Stables offers a relaxing way to take a break from the hustle and bustle of busy London without having to leave the city.

Owner Ellie took over the stables as a way to avoid them being handed over to developers. She's committed to ensuring that the sport is accessible to people in the city, spreading the love of horse riding and encouraging more people to give it a go.

Horses can be ridden in the lush Hyde Park and alongside The Serpentine Lake, offering views across the park and making it one of the most scenic spots to go horse riding in any capital city in the world.

They have a committed team of professional instructors and teachers who dedicate their time to teaching riders how to master the basics of horse riding before scoring them independently through the park. Whether you have experience or not, Hyde Park Stables welcomes all levels of riders.

The facilities were used in the London Olympics in 2012 and offer an unforgettable opportunity to trot around Serpentine Lake and the leafy Hyde Park. The stables are open seven days a week for lessons and leisurely rides.
