This weekend, Shakespeare's classic play “The Tempest” is given a completely new direction by the acclaimed Polish theatre company Teatr Biuro Podróży as part of a festival celebrating contemporary Polish theatre in London.

This free outdoor performance from Teatr Biuro Podróży is a vibrant, physical interpretation of Shakespeare's classic play about magic, betrayal, love, and forgiveness – the story of people who dream of power and are willing to take the lives of others to gain it.
Teatr Biuro Podróży, founded in 1988 by director Paweł Szkotak, has spent over 35 years forging a distinctive artistic identity. In that time, the company has created 22 original productions, 14 of them large-scale outdoor performances. Its work is marked by a unique creative process and a recognisable theatrical style that has become its hallmark.
