Soho restaurant 64 Old Compton Street is hosting a special one-day giveaway to celebrate one month until Christmas. The restaurant will offer 100 free portions of its new Pigs in Blankets Ragu to take away.
The Pigs in Blankets Ragu takes the house gnocchi ragu and makes it festive. Soft handmade potato gnocchi meet a slow-cooked tomato and red wine beef shin ragu. Whole pigs in blankets sit on top, crisp and smoky. The sauce is rich with garlic and herbs, and the dish is finished with a snowfall of Parmesan. Playful and nostalgic, rich and comforting, the Italian spin on Britain's favourite festive side will only be available on the day and will not be sold afterwards. Chef and owner Nima Safaei describes the idea as simple: sharing "a hug in a bowl" with the neighbourhood.
To qualify, customers must be among the first 100 people to claim it and must follow @64OldComptonStreet on Instagram. The offer is for takeaway only and will be served on a strict first-come, first-served basis.
The Pigs in Blankets Ragu giveaway will take place on Tuesday, 25 November 2025, starting at noon and running to 1.30 pm or until all portions are distributed. Get crackin'!
