This summer, Regent's Park Open Air Theatre will stage a dazzling new production of Lerner & Loewe's beloved musical “Brigadoon”, set against the romantic backdrop of the Scottish Highlands.

The story follows WW2 fighter pilots Tommy and Jeff, who stumble upon the mysterious village of Brigadoon, where sisters Fiona and Jean are preparing for a wedding. Over the course of a single magical day, love and destiny intertwine, raising the question of whether happiness can last in a world that isn't quite real.

Returning to London after more than 35 years, the show features classic songs such as “Almost Like Being in Love”, “Waitin' for My Dearie”, and “The Heather on the Hill”. This fresh adaptation by acclaimed Scottish playwright Rona Munro is brought to life by Olivier Award-winning director and choreographer Drew McOnie in his debut as Artistic Director of the theatre.
