This weekend, 13 December, Songhaven is bringing one of its dementia-friendly concerts to Conway Hall in Holborn, offering an afternoon of live music in a relaxed and supportive setting. The organisation specialises in creating professional concerts for people living with dementia and their carers, with events designed to feel welcoming, flexible and easy to enjoy.

Their upcoming concert at Conway Hall in Holborn follows the same approach, with an afternoon programme lasting around 45 minutes and featuring well-loved songs from stage and screen, performed by a trio of classically trained musicians. Familiar melodies are central here, offering moments of recognition and connection without overwhelming the audience.

The setting is deliberately relaxed, with audiences encouraged to move around, respond naturally, or step out if needed. It's not about formality or silence, but shared enjoyment in a supportive environment. For carers and attendees alike, it's a reminder that live music can still be accessible, sociable and genuinely enjoyable.

All Songhaven events are free with a collection of donations at the end (suggested contribution £5)
