Drawing Room in Bermondsey is an art gallery dedicated to contemporary drawing practices and it's just announced the return of a major exhibition. The Drawing Biennial is back for 2024, taking place in the gallery's recently-opened permanent premises for the first time. The show will be on between 3rd May and 3rd July.

This exhibition takes place every two years and features A4 drawings by some of the contemporary art world's most celebrated names. In this year's iteration you'll be able to see original work by some major players including Frank Auerbach, Bob & Roberta Smith, Antony Gormley, and Julian Opie. The exhibition promises to be a finger on the pulse of contemporary drawing, showcasing the diversity of drawing by some of the most exciting artists around the world today.

Not only will you be able to see the works in person at Drawing Room, you'll have the chance to bid on them at auction too. The online auction of all of the works in the show opens at noon on 19th June and continues until the show ends on 3rd July. All of the money raised from the auction is used to fund Drawing Room's activities over the coming two years, including supporting artists, staging exhibitions, and championing drawing. Find out more about this year's exhibition on Drawing Room's website.
