A new weekly farmers market is launching in Peckham later this month, offering a fresh Saturday option for anyone keen to stock up on good produce and stick around for lunch. Peckham Farmers Market opens on 24 January at The Belham Primary School, serving the surrounding communities of Peckham, Dulwich, and Camberwell.

More than 25 traders will be selling local, seasonal food, including fruit and vegetables, meat and poultry, shellfish and other seafood, eggs, cheese, artisan bread and cakes, plus extras like fresh apple juice, jams, chutneys, plants, and herbs. Alongside the groceries, there'll be street food for eating on the spot and regular live music, giving it more of a social, hang-out feel than a quick in-and-out shop.

The market runs every Saturday from 9:30am to 3pm.
