Husband and wife duo Amy Corbin and Patrick Williams will open their third South African-inspired tapas-style restaurant, Little Kudu, on Wednesday, 21 June.
Much like the duo's other two restaurants, Kudu and Kudu Grill, Chef Patron Patrick will showcase his South African roots at Little Kudu, alongside South African-born Head Chef Chace Wagenhauser.
The menu is set to impress and will feature dishes like chicken liver parfait tartlet with spiced pineapple and calendula; Little Kudu loaf with Cape Malay butter; smoked peri-peri mussels; braaibroodjie (South African grilled cheese sandwich) with smoked tomato chutney and a ham hock terrine with biltong scratchings. Make sure you leave room for dessert, they have grilled mango with kombucha and yoghurt sorbet and a Don Pedro and Milo mousse on the menu.
As for drinks, there will be a list focused mainly on South African varieties sourced from family-owned wineries. There will also be a handful of cocktails to try, including some of Kudu Collective's signature drinks, like the Smokey Kudu (Smokey whiskey, Japanese whiskey, Bourbon and sherry); Kudu Spritz (Sipello, elderflower liqueur and sparkling wine) and Saffa-Rita (Chilli tequila, Cointreau, lime, and Chakalaka salt rim).
