HOP Vietnamese has opened its latest site right by King's Cross St Pancras, bringing quick, tasty Vietnamese dishes to a part of London already spoiled for fast food. To celebrate the launch, HOP is giving away 500 free HOP Boxes from midday on Wednesday, 26 November.

The menu sticks to what HOP does best – delicious dishes like chicken coconut curry, lemongrass chicken, vegan coconut curry, and chargrilled honey pork. Everything is served in the brand's signature boxes that are easy to grab and go, which is ideal if you are racing for a train or heading back to your desk.

The new site can seat up to 52 diners across two levels, and ordering is done through kiosks or QR codes, so you can go straight from choosing your lunch to eating it without waiting around. The King's Cross site nods to the friendly Vietnamese greeting "Ăn cơm chưa" which means “Have you eaten rice yet?” a friendly way of inviting people to sit down and enjoy something tasty.

There's no catch beyond showing up early enough to beat everyone else who also enjoys free food, but you do need to pre-register first to get a unique code to claim your box.
