The London International Animation Festival celebrates the full breadth of animated filmmaking, highlighting that this art form truly has something for everyone. Founded in 2003, it has grown into the UK's biggest and longest-running animation festival, championing independent creators from across the globe.

Each edition brings hundreds of films to London — from UK to world premieres — alongside industry events, Screentalks, Q&As and hands-on workshops for both creators and fans. Thanks to its hybrid format, most screenings are also available online, with many accessible to international viewers. The festival rounds things out with filmmaker retrospectives, themed strands like Late Night Bizarre and Music Video Sessions, audience voting, and awards judged by an expert jury.
This year's edition of the London International Animation Festival takes place at multiple venues from 28 November to 7 December. You can find out more about the programme and book tickets here.
