Resurgent singer-songwriter Mitski is the final headline act of the annual Victoria Park bash.
American musician Mitski is an accomplished singer-songwriter with seven albums under her belt, her personal, insightful lyrics and pop-friendly music steeped in Americana winning over critics and listeners alike, with even Barack Obama counting himself a fan. Though her struggles with balancing a private life and public stardom have led her to lead a relatively low profile and at one point even announce her retirement, she has returned in a big way. Last year's album “The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We” was a fixture of best-of lists, a song she contributed to “Everything Everywhere All at Once” was nominated for an Academy Award, and her music has gone viral on TikTok. All this is to say it's a very good time to catch her live.
Mitski will be bringing a talented crop of contemporary music acts along to All Points East, including Beabadoobee, Ethel Cain, Arlo Parks, and many more. They'll perform at the All Points East festival in London's Victoria Park on Sunday 18 August, completing this year's line-up which also features Kaytranada, Loyle Carner, LCD Soundsystem, The Postal Service, and Death Cab for Cutie as headliners.
Tickets for Mitski at All Points East will go on general sale on Friday 12 April at 10 am. You can find out more about the festival here.
