If you're in Oxford Circus for your Christmas shopping on 9th December, why not take a break from the crowds with a festive concert? All Souls Langham Place, a well-known church just next to the BBC headquarters, is staging “Christmas at the Movies”, performed by The All Souls Orchestra.

You don't have to be religious to join in the fun. This concert is all about music from favourite Christmas films, featuring music from the scores of classics like “Home Alone”, “It's a Wonderful Life”, and “The Nightmare Before Christmas”, plus the Christmas carols you know and love. There's a matinee at 3pm as well as an evening performance at 7pm, with tickets for both shows selling fast.
