One of London's most picturesque festivals sails back into town this May bank holiday, as the IWA Canalway Cavalcade once again brings colour to Little Venice from 3–5 May 2025.

More than 100 beautifully decorated boats, including historic narrowboats, widebeams, and cruisers, will moor in the Pool of Little Venice, just behind Paddington Station. The canal becomes a hub of celebration, drawing in crowds for this beloved annual event.

But it's not just for boaters. The Cavalcade is packed with free, family-friendly fun on land too: expect live music, a real ale bar, street food, craft stalls, and plenty of children's activities. Highlights on the water include a decorated boat pageant and the magical illuminated boat parade on Sunday night at 9pm.

Running all weekend, 10am to 6pm on Saturday, extended hours on Sunday, and until 5pm Monday, the event is free to attend (just note that mooring spots are fully booked).
