French politics have been all over the news lately, mostly for worrying reasons, so a holiday commemorating one of the country's most historic events is coming at an opportune time. And while Bastille Day might not be a thing on our side of the Channel, we'll still gladly take any excuse to enjoy some fine French food.
The Michelin-starred Pavyllon, helmed by celebrated French chef Yannick Alléno, is hosting a one-off bottomless brunch experience on 14 July in celebration of Bastille Day. Served in the restaurant's Bar Antoine area, the specially curated menu is a perfect opportunity for families of all ages to come together and celebrate this significant day in the French calendar.
Guests can enjoy a tempting array of dishes from the brunch buffet, including a selection of main courses and a live station on the newly opened Twilight Terrace. Three cold stations will offer a selection of French cheeses and delightful patisserie, with a salad bar to pacify your inner nutritionist available as well.
The food will be complemented by unlimited champagne and a Bloody Mary station, where you'll be able to mix up your own cocktail with personalised spice mixes and garnishes. With live music and children's entertainment, including French-themed arts and crafts in the hang-out space, this has all the makings of an unmissable family day.
Bastille Day Bottomless Brunch at Bar Antoine is priced at £90 for adults and £45 for children, with an optional £30 for bottomless champagne. You can find out more and book your spot here.
