This December, Mercato Mayfair is getting even more theatrical with the arrival of Tirami Sin, a new tiramisu confession box that invites you to swap your deepest darkest secrets for a slice of the beloved Italian dessert. It's the latest addition to the Grade I listed food hall inside St Mark's Church, which already feels dramatic enough with its stunning stained glass, stone pillars and soaring ceilings.
The concept revolves around The Service, which takes place every Thursday to Sunday from 4 to 6pm. You just have to ring the tiramisu bell to signal your arrival, then step into the wooden confession box tucked away inside the market. After sharing whatever you feel like getting off your chest, you will receive a slice of tiramisu made from the owner's family recipe. The team uses Pavesini biscuits instead of the usual sponge, so the dessert is light, soft, and a bit easier to justify as a late-afternoon treat (not that we're judging, anyway).

To kick things off, Mercato Mayfair is handing out free tiramisu from 4 to 6pm on December 4 and 5. They're also bringing in a live opera singer, which adds to the atmosphere of the converted church and turns the whole thing into more of an event. From December 3 onwards, the Tirami Sin set up will run every single day, so you can visit any time and skip the performance element if you just want a slice minus the drama.

The installation sits alongside the usual mix of traders, bars and seating across the three levels of Mercato Mayfair. There is the main hall with its big communal tables, the crypt with its bar and food counters, and the rooftop terrace, which is often the quietest spot. Swing by from 4 to 6pm Thursday to Sunday during The Service for the full Tirami Sin experience.
