The Stag in Hampstead reopens this month after a full refurbishment that refreshes the historic pub while keeping its much-loved character. Original features such as mounted stags, mirrors, and fireplaces remain, now paired with smart new updates.

A whole new floor at the Hampstead local is dedicated to private events with the familiar feel of a house party, while the garden has been upgraded with its own bar, sports screens, and a new Garden Room designed for year-round celebrations.

Behind the bar, rotating craft beers sit alongside classic Youngs favourites, complemented by a seasonal martini menu with creative variations. The all-day food menu puts a modern twist on pub favourites, from sharing plates and rotisserie chicken to famous wings, toasties, and indulgent Sunday roasts, as well as something that's sure to have trend-savvy Londoners buzzing – a tear-and-share Stag Bag inspired by Irish spice bags, which have been having a bit of a moment in the city recently.

With walk-ins welcome, The Stag is set to return on 22 January as a lively local hub for food, drinks, and good times.
